Donation Drop Site

Sojourn Heights Church had opened it's building for 4 days to receive, sort, and distribute donations. In a short amount of time, we were able to dispatch 89 car loads of sorted donations to shelters needing supplies. Thank you for your tremendous generosity! To mobilize our body of volunteers, we are no longer accepting donations. We encourage you visit Houston Emergency's webpage to find donation drop site information.

We recommend that you research and confirm donation drop site information before traveling to them. Additionally, please donate only items requested on their website.

Benevolence Fund

Typically, the Sojourn Houston Benevolence Fund serves a dual purpose:  (1) to provide financial support to needy members within Sojourn churches and (2) to issue grants to non-profit organizations serving the poor and powerless throughout Houston. However, in response to Hurricane Harvey, we hope to deploy this fund for Houstonians in need.

The Christian God is a just and merciful God, and we get the joy of manifesting His character for the sake of those in need. The gospel reveals that God has acted graciously, generously, and sacrificially on behalf of the spiritually poor and powerless, so we're passionate about mobilizing Sojourn members and resources to do the same.

The Lord sits enthroned over the flood; the Lord sits enthroned as king forever.

May the Lord give strength to his people! May the Lord bless his people with peace!
