Plan Your Visit

We want you to feel welcome and comfortable during your first visit on Sunday, so we've attempted to answer a few common questions. Here's what you can expect on Sundays.

WHen SHOULD I ARRIVE?

Our two Sunday Gatherings begin at 9 am and 11 am, but we invite you to arrive a few minutes early to enjoy a cup of coffee and meet some of our members!

WHERE SHOULD I GO?

Our Sunday Gatherings are held at 608 Aurora Street (click here for directions). We have a front entrance on Gostik Street and a side entrance on Aurora Street. Every Sunday morning, volunteers will be standing by to help guide you. Wheelchair access is also available through the door on Aurora Street.

WHERE SHOULD I PARK?

Our small parking lot is reserved for families with small children and first-time guests. Other than that, we are situated in the middle of a neighborhood, and street parking is available all around. Please be respectful of our neighbors as you park.

WHAT ARE MY CHILDCARE OPTIONS?

We are passionate about communicating the truth of the gospel in age-appropriate ways. Thus, we provide Sojourn Kids (learn more) for children age 2 months through 3rd grade at both of our Sunday Gatherings. If you have a child with special needs, please email our Sojourn Kids Coordinator and let us know how we can serve you!

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

Our Sunday Gatherings are casual and familial. We're a church for people from all walks of life. Please wear whatever is most comfortable for you.

WHAT happens on Sunday?

Every Sunday, we sing songs together, we pray both privately and corporately, we hear the Bible preached, and we partake of the sacrament of Communion.

Helping parents raise kids who love and trust Jesus...

“Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.”

– Jesus (Matthew 19:14)

At Sojourn, we believe children are valuable members of the church family. They bring joy and life to the congregation, and they help adults to understand the love of the Father and the meaning of childlike faith. Sojourn Kids is passionate about partnering with families to raise kids who love and trust Jesus. Our dedicated team ensures that children are cared for and taught simple, biblical truth in a safe, loving environment.

9 & 11am Gatherings:  Ages 2 months – 3rd grade

We use the Gospel Project for Kids curriculum, which teaches that the Bible is one unified story of God’s redemption through Jesus.  As they participate week after week, kids will begin to see how the Bible is one, big story centered around Jesus.

Because we believe children benefit greatly from seeing their parents engage with God and His people, we encourage parents to bring children in 4th grade and beyond to join us in the sanctuary. Sojourn is a family of families, and we don’t expect perfectly behaved children! If your child is being disruptive, please don’t be embarrassed. The sound of children is the sound of life and a future! We provide workbooks and crayons for kids in the sanctuary. These can be found in the foyer.

Dear Parents,

On behalf of our Sojourn Kids team, we're honored to be entrusted with the care of your children on Sundays. We value your children and want to provide an environment that is safe and nurturing so that they can actively learn about the God who loves them. We have established the Policies & Procedures handbook (below) to protect not only our children, but also our volunteers and Sojourn’s mission. These rules will be strictly enforced. If you have any questions or concerns not addressed in the handbook, please feel free to contact me below!
